The China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East) and other 17 companies won the United Arab Emirate (UAE)'s 10th edition of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum (MRM) Business Award.

Set up in 2005, the MRM Business Award is a high-profile award honoring companies' excellence and innovation in the fields of construction, finance, services, manufacturing, trade, re-export as well as transport and logistics.

The award ceremony, attended by the UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and other 1,730 delegates from the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), was hosted in Dubai Opera on Tuesday.

The China State Construction Engineering Corporation (Middle East) is UAE's main engineering contractor, covering sectors of construction, infrastructure, mechanical and electrical installation and so on.

It participates in building local residents, hotels, bridges and airport.
