On July 4, SHANGTEX published the strategic blueprint of its brands park. In the future, SHANGTEX will establish a mother-ship strategic layout of China's fashion industry that would incorporate 4 major brands, 6 platforms, and 11 professional companies. From traditional textile factories to creative parks, SHANGTEX draws help from the creative design industry to change the state of its operation, transformed into "fashionable creative textile". Through development strategy of brands building and industrialization, SHANGTEX has completed optimization and upgrading of the creative industry and starts to make its presence felt on the stage of the international fashion industry.

Meanwhile, the former Shanghai No. 17 General Cotton Mill is transformed into Shanghai Fashion Center today, signifying that Shanghai's textile industry has completed the construction of the fashion industrial chain. It is told that Shanghai Fashion Center is more than a fashion center that integrates fashion demonstration, fashion experience, and recreation and entertainment. It has also taken such functions as foreign cooperation and exchange into consideration in its planning. Its multi-purpose show stages, creative offices and designers' offices constitute a large platform for fashion exhibition and service, combining fashion design with commercial activities, making it Asia's largest creative fashion landmark that boasts the most diversified fashion elements.

It is learned that SHANGTEX Fashion Company is the one who has undertaken the construction of SHANGTEX fashion industrial chain. Relying on SHANGTEX's rich textile resources and making use of the creative design industry, the company has achieved improvement in R&D and industrial cooperation. By reconstructing old factories, industrial complementation, brands operation, and channel construction, the company has also succeeded in changing the development of SHANGTEX from "creative industry" to "industrial creativeness", and thus established SHANGTEX's position in the fashion industry.

It is learned that the innovative reform of SHANGTEX in recent years can be described in three words: "brand", "leading", and "products".

SHANGTEX has been involved in the construction of the creative industrial park long ago. After successfully operating 13 creative industrial parks in Shanghai, it categorized the parks based on their industrial attributes and the layout of their business operation modes, establishing the M50 fashion and culture brand, the LOFT fashionable life brand, the International Design and Communication Center fashion design brand, and the International Fashion Center fashion experience brand. The M50 and LOFT own five parks, achieving scale effects through brand building and industrialization and providing effective guidance to the development of the fashion industry. Relying on 4 major brands and 6 public platforms of the fashion industry, SHANGTEX will further accelerate the introduction of derivative products and services.

Making use of the Shanghai Fashion Week and the Fashion Shanghai, SHANGTEX manages to grasp the rhythms of the global fashion industry and establish close relationship with the international fashion industry.

SHANGTEX has started the building of the high-end fashion brand Prolivon and the popular brand EY since 2009. Meanwhile, it has also expanded M50 into a product and service brand and established the "M50 Design Federation", helping designers to achieve products reform. The "Wuling Young Painters Studio" establishes a young artists training system. The M50 Creative Young Talents Contest attaches great importance to discovering outstanding and creative young designers.
