China's fight against vaccine shortage
China has been striving to make COVID-19 vaccines more available in developing countries, and has already provided about 800 million doses of vaccines and concentrates to the world. As of Aug 4, global COVID-19 cases have surpassed 200 million. 51.15% of people in high-income countries have been vaccinated, compared with just 1.36% in low-income countries, according to WHO.
