The so-called "summit for democracy" proposed by the U.S. government will take the stage soon. Its attempts to control a whole orchestra with one string is nothing but a betrayal of the democratic spirit. True democracy will be a symphony performed by all countries and regions, not a solo for U.S. itself. Without catering to the needs and values of other nations, U.S.-style democracy is doomed to failure.
