1. Promote green and low-carbon transformation of energy in a sound and orderly manner

 

Promoting clean and efficient utilization of coal is an important way to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. In order to promote green and low-carbon transformation of energy in a sound and orderly manner, we need to do a good job in energy-saving and carbon-reducing transformation of major coal-using industries such as electric power, strengthen the promotion and application of advanced technologies and research and development of core technologies, and improve supporting policies in the field of finance and taxation .

 

2. Ensure the stability and smoothness of the industrial and supply chain in foreign trade 

 

We cultivate various platforms such as foreign trade transformation and upgrading bases, national industrial parks for processing trade, and national innovation demonstration zones for promoting import trade. Efforts will be made to unblock international logistics, maintain the multilateral trading system, make good use of the signed free trade agreements, and guide enterprises to explore the international market in a targeted way.

 

3. Speed up legislation in digital economy

 

At present, the digital economy undergoes unprecedented development in speed, scope and influence. It is the top priority to accelerate the pace of legislation, improve the governance system, and promote the regulated and healthy development of the platform economy and digital economy, which also reflects the concerns of the market and lives up to the expectations of the public.

 

 

1. Data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that from January to February this year, China's industrial enterprises above designated size achieved a total profit of RMB 1,157.56 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%.

 

2. According to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, in 2021, China's current account registered a surplus of RMB 2,044.5 billion, and the capital and financial account a deficit of RMB 973.2 billion.

 

3. Data from Asset Management Association of China showed that as of the end of February this year, there were 138 fund management companies in China, and the total net asset value of public funds reached RMB 26.34 trillion. 

 

4. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information, the added value of China’s electronic information manufacturing industry above designated scale increased by 12.7% year-on-year, 5.2 percentage points higher than the growth rate of industrial added value in the same period.  

 

5. From January to February this year, China’s international trade in goods and services reached RMB 6,812.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15%, according to the latest data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. 

 

6. China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and National Bureau of Statistics announced that in March this year, China’s purchasing managers index was 49.5%.

 

7. The Guangxi Pinglu Canal, a major strategic project of the new land-sea corridor in western China, was officially approved recently. The Pinglu Canal will focus on shipping development, and its functions will also involve water supply, irrigation, flood control, etc. The total static investment of the project is about RMB 68 billion.

 

8. Huahu Airport of Ezhou in Hubei Province, as the first cargo hub airport in Asia, is expected to be officially put into use at the end of June this year. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Huahu Airport plans to launch about 10 international routes and 50 domestic routes.

 

9. Report from Huawei showed that in 2021 the revenue of the company amounted to RMB 636.8 billion, and its net profit was RMB 113.7 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 75.9%. 

 

10. From January to February this year, the business income of internet companies above designated scale in China reached RMB 222.3 billion, up 5.1% year on year.
