The U.S.-hosted Summit of the Americas concluded last week amid protests. By excluding Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua from the summit, the US revealed its real purpose of "exclusion, hegemony and discrimination". The few outcomes of the summit once again prove the nature of U.S. policies toward Latin America - "America First" and "paying lip service".
