Striving for larger exports of agricultural products to China -One Day Workshop for Pakistan's Dairy Exporters was held

BEIJING, Jan.10 (China Economic Net) - One Day Training Workshop for Dairy/Meat Associations for Export of Animal products to China was held in Lahore, Pakistan on Monday in order to promote the access of agricultural products to China and strive for larger exports.

The workshop was attended on-site and online by 150 personnel including Pakistaniofficers of the China-Pakistan Agricultural Cooperation and Exchange Center.
The workshop hosted by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, consisted of two sessions: "Introduction to sanitary requirements for export of animal products" and "Interventions to meet country specific SPS (Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures) requirements", including 10 key themes such as General requirements for hygienic meat production and processing technologies for export, food safety standards for dairy products with special reference to camel milk powder, cream,butter and tea whitener, Residue monitoring plan to mitigate risk of antimicrobial contamination.
