On July 29, under the scorching sun and unbearable heat, the maintenance team of the State Grid Tangyin County Power Supply Company's Transmission Operations and Maintenance Department braved the heat to conduct meticulous inspections of the 35kV lines in the area using drones. These aerial inspections, combined with ground monitoring videos, provided a comprehensive overview of the network line equipment, precisely identifying the operational status of the lines and detecting any defects or surrounding hazards, ensuring the safety and stability of the power lines during the summer peaks.

 

To fully prepare for the summer peak power supply, the State Grid Tangyin County Power Supply Company began preparations at the start of summer. They scientifically arranged the operation modes of the power grid, formulated a detailed summer peak power supply plan, conducted comprehensive emergency drills for power supply during flood season, and established regular communication mechanisms with meteorological and flood management departments to ensure timely access to weather information.

 

During the summer peaks, the company adopted a combined "human and drone inspection" approach, systematically organizing inspection plans to conduct thorough and comprehensive diagnostics of the line equipment, significantly improving inspection efficiency and ensuring stable operation of the transmission lines. In these inspections, the company fully leveraged the flexibility of drones to meticulously check for any cracks in drain clamps and connecting fittings.

 

Since the beginning of summer, the State Grid Tangyin County Power Supply Company has identified five safety hazards through the use of drone high-definition cameras. Moving forward, the company will continue to intensify drone line inspections, improving the efficiency of line maintenance and inspections, and reinforcing the "aerial power" for safe power supply during the summer peaks, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
