BEIJING, Aug. 15 (China Economic Net)–In response to the second National Ecology Day, a media briefing on environmental services for the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) was held in Beijing.

 

 

The meeting introduced in detail the overall preparations, exhibition area planning, highlights as well as other related information of the 2024 CIFTIS Environmental Services Special Exhibition.

 

This year's CIFTIS will be held from September 12 to 16, with the exhibition area for environmental services is about 12,000 square meters. With the theme of Dual Carbon Empowerment, it will set up multiple exhibition areas such as green energy, carbon neutrality technology and circular economy.

 

As a key international comprehensive exhibition, CIFTIS has become a stage for many overseas companies to make their debut in China and showcase their global breakthroughs. At this CIFTIS Environmental Services Special Exhibition, more than a dozen Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders from Austria, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, Brazil and other countries and regions will show their innovative technologies and provide solutions to global environmental issues.

 

Raizen, a Brazilian Fortune 500 Group, will showcase its world-breaking second-generation ethanol technology-producing bio-cellulosic ethanol fuel from biowaste, and simultaneously launch a system application solution for the field of sustainable and low-carbon transportation.

 

Carbios of France is going to display its leading biorecycling plant, PET recycled material technology and enzymatic decomposition solutions for plastic and textile waste.

 

IQAir, a Swiss air purification information technology company and technical partner of the United Nations Environment Programme, UN-Habitat and Greenpeace, will participate in the CIFTIS for the first time. It is about to focus on the theme of corporate ESG development by releasing the 2023 IQAir ESG White Paper and showcase the Smart Panoramic Air Monitoring Solution.

 

In addition to international companies occupying a place with a series of conspicuous products and technologies, domestic players will also fully display the industry’s innovative achievements around the concept of green new quality productive forces. Brand new technologies and production methods including industrial and air source carbon capture and utilization (CCUS) negative carbon technology, industrial intelligent control and ultra-low emission technology, energy and carbon emission intelligent management AI technology will attract attention at home and abroad. 

 

Among them, the Moon 1 lunar rover brought by the China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center will make its debut, revealing the innovative breakthroughs of the lunar rover in hydrogen and oxygen fuel cell technology, highlighting the unique role of aerospace technology in promoting low-carbon transformation and accelerating green development.

 

Among them, the Moon One lunar rover brought by the China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center and the Capital Aerospace Machinery Group will be exhibited in the core area, revealing the lunar rover’s breakthroughs in hydrogen and oxygen fuel cell, and highlighting the unique role of aerospace technology in promoting low-carbon transformation and enabling various industries to accelerate green development.
