BEIJING, Aug. 25 (China Economic Net) - Pakistan as a guest of honor will participate in the 8th Silk Road International Exhibition to be held in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China on September 20-24, said Ghulam Qadir, Commercial Counselor at the Pakistani Embassy in Beijing.

 

Ghulam Qadir said that in recent years, Pakistan and Shaanxi have maintained close exchanges in various fields. In early June this year, the Pakistani Prime Minister visited Xi’an and said that he is willing to deepen exchanges with Shaanxi in economy, trade, energy, agriculture, education, sister cities and other fields with economic cooperation as the starting point.

 

He said that participation as the guest of honor of the Silk Expo will be conducive to promoting the pragmatic cooperation between the two sides in  various fields.

Ghulam Qadir said that a big delegation from Pakistan will participate and display Pakistani products there.
