HEFEI, Dec 26 (China Economic Net) - The International Molecular Pathology Training Program hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China concluded at Anhui Medical University on Dec 24. Over twenty pathologists and biomedical technicians from Pakistan and Mongolia participated in the training.

In this training program, participants attended a series of lectures and seminars on Introduction to Molecular Pathology, Clinical Applications of Molecular Pathology, and Molecular Immunology. Additionally, the program included experimental operations, hospital field trips, and biotechnology enterprise visits.

“Committed to China’s vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind, we hope the participants can get to learn about the latest achievements of molecular pathology in China, and make contributions to promoting the cooperation and exchanges in the global medical and health field via this program,” Yu Yongqiang, Vice President Anhui Medical University remarked.

Various China-Pakistan cooperation programs are ongoing at Anhui Medical University. In 2022, Anhui Medical University and Islamabad Medical & Dental College established China-Pakistan Cross-cultural Educational Exchange Center to enhance joint education, academic, language and cultural exchanges, as well as clinical healthcare research. The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University and Islamabad Medical & Dental College jointly hosted China-Pakistan Pathology Study Session.
