BEIJING, Feb. 19 (China Economic Net)– “The global accessibility of clean energy is inseparable from win-win cooperation. So far, 46 international exhibitors will participate in our exhibition, bringing the world's leading clean energy technologies and solutions, covering 11 countries and regions around the world, and international exhibitors account for more than 10%,” noted Xu Guangbin, director of the International Cooperation Department, China Electricity Council, in his speech at the press conference of the 15th Clean Energy Expo China (CEEC 2025), which will be held at the end of March.

According to the latest forecast of the International Energy Agency (IEA), the proportion of global renewable energy in total power generation will increase from the current 27% to 86% by 2050. Such an unstoppable trend of new energy development will create unlimited space for cooperation on a global scale.
Providing China's green experience to the world is inseparable from global collaboration. By the end of 2024, China has carried out energy cooperation with more than 100 countries and regions. Especially in Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America, China has helped improve local level of clean energy development and utilization through technology exports and project cooperation.
“During this year’s exhibition, in addition to investment promotion agencies from domestic embassies in China, we are going to invite senior officials from international energy departments for the first time. By now, we have sent invitations to more than 100 countries and regions, with a focus on high-level officials from energy ministries in new energy hotspots such as the Middle East and Central Asia to attend our conference to share the latest international new energy policies, new project launches, and the like, and extend an olive branch to more international energy cooperation partners,” introduced Jiang Yun, Executive Vice Secretary-General of the China Overseas Development Association, in his keynote speech.
Meanwhile, international energy companies have also turned their attention to China's vast market. As of February 18, the organizers have received applications from exhibitors, guests and visitors from more than 60 countries and regions, including but not limited the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Russia, Australia, Japan.
Chinese enterprises, on the other hand, are searching for the Sea of Hope around the world. Statistics show that China’s new energy exports have made outstanding contributions to the global green and low-carbon transformation. In 2023, the world’s new installed capacity of renewable energy has reached 510 million kilowatts, of which China has contributed more than half; China’s exported wind power and photovoltaic products has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by about 573 million tons in related countries and regions in 2022.
To date, China’s new energy industry has built a full chain system with international competitive advantages, contributing more than 80% of photovoltaic modules and 70% of wind power equipment to the world.
“During the exhibition, the Chinese new energy enterprises overseas launch conference will be an unprecedented highlight,” Jiang told China Economic Net. “Our top 20 new energy enterprises overseas launch cases will be released for the first time. Domestic guests from various industries will have direct and in-depth exchanges with international government departments and investment institutions, which is firstly to establish a long-term mechanism for international new energy investment and cooperation, and secondly to share China’s successful experience in new energy development, including experience in technological innovation, industrial upgrade and policy support, to promote win-win results for the global new energy industry.”
