BEIJING, July. 16 (China Economic Net) - “China’s supply chain is a miracle. I am so happy to have the opportunity to introduce NVIDIA to China’s huge supply chain.”
At the opening ceremony of the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), founder and CEO of NVIDIA Jensen Huang, made an opening remark in Chinese.

At the opening ceremony, Huang did not wear his signature black leather jacket-a look he’s sported for at least 20 years, instead a Tang suit. This year, Nvidia made its debut at the CISCE, which has attracted much attention. Just the day before (July 15), Huang announced that he would resume sales of H20 chips in China and launch a new and fully compatible GPU for the Chinese market. On the same day, Huang said in an interview that the Chinese market is so huge and full of vitality. “Artificial intelligence is developing very fast in China, and I am very happy to see the development of AI in China. There are 50% of the world’s AI researchers here. Therefore, it is indeed crucial for U.S. companies to take root in the Chinese market.”
“AI is changing every industry - from scientific research and healthcare to energy development, transportation and logistics management.”
Huang pointed out in his speech that AI powers China’s iconic platforms such as Tencent WeChat, Alibaba Taobao, and ByteDance Douyin, drives Xiaomi’s autonomous driving and smartphones, enables Baidu’s AI search and Meituan’s extremely fast and convenient smart delivery services, and supports Inferior Medical Technology’s medical imaging diagnosis system, helping to improve medical standards in more than 20 countries around the world.
“China’s open-source AI is a catalyst for global progress, giving countries and industries the opportunity to participate in this AI revolution. Open source is also the key to ensuring AI security, helping to promote international collaboration on technical standards, performance benchmarks and safety protection measures.” Huang added that AI, which has become an infrastructure, is also reshaping the supply chain and completely changing the way of production and logistics.
The chip godfather emphasized that the next wave of AI that can understand the physical world and perform tasks will appear within 10 years and will completely change the existing factory model, working side by side with humans to manufacture intelligent products. Artificial intelligence will trigger a new industrial revolution and growth opportunities.
“We will use technology for our long-term partners and many new friends to create prosperity in the AI era in the future.”
