On October 14, the first large-scale operation of the autumn inspection for the Anyang power grid began at the 220 kV Wenfeng Substation. Technicians of the State Grid Anyang Power Supply Company carried out equipment upgrades and renovations in an orderly manner — from switchgear testing to protection signal transmission — following strict standardized procedures. Through the dual-track approach of “inspection plus rectification,” the maintenance work aims to ensure that all equipment operates at its best performance during the high-load winter period.
Autumn is a crucial season for preparing the power grid for the winter. The State Grid Anyang Power Supply Company has fully launched this year’s autumn inspection, implementing detailed plans covering load capacity analysis, maintenance scheduling, and project coordination. The focus areas include overhauls, regular testing, and the elimination of defects and potential hazards, with more than 180 maintenance and inspection tasks arranged in total.
To strengthen the safety line for autumn and winter operations, the company has taken the “root-cause rectification” campaign as a key driver, advancing comprehensive safety inspections and tightening safety accountability across all levels. By identifying potential risks, creating detailed problem lists, and applying a closed-loop “check-and-remove” management system, it ensures that all hazards are rectified thoroughly and effectively.
Adhering to a problem-oriented, goal-oriented, and results-oriented approach, the company continues to reinforce safety responsibilities at every level and enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of safety management — laying a solid foundation for stable power supply during the upcoming winter peak season.
