HANGZHOU, May 25 (China Economic Net) — Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, currently on an official visit to China, met senior executives from several major Chinese companies in Hangzhou on Saturday.
As part of his outreach to China’s corporate sector, the prime minister held meetings with representatives of Sheng Huo Neng Yuan Ke Ji Company, CATL, StarCharge and Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical Group.
He met Agnes Siu, CEO of Sheng Huo Neng Yuan Ke Ji Company, to discuss cooperation in the renewable energy sector. Sharif highlighted Pakistan’s growing renewable energy market and increasing demand for clean energy solutions. He also outlined government measures aimed at supporting the sector, particularly solar power development.
The prime minister also met CATL Executive President Oscar Luo. Discussions focused on cooperation in advanced battery technology, energy storage and solar-linked solutions to support Pakistan’s clean energy transition.
In a separate meeting with StarCharge Chairwoman Danwei Shao, talks centered on electric vehicle charging infrastructure and smart mobility systems.
Xin Yuan, president of Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical Group, also called on the prime minister. Discussions covered pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare cooperation and investment opportunities in Pakistan’s expanding medical sector.
The meetings also included discussions on increasing investment, establishing manufacturing facilities and expanding existing operations in Pakistan.
