Moscow condemned a suicide bombing near the Russian embassy in Syrian capital Damascus that claimed over 15 lives on Monday.
Moscow strongly condemns another attack of the terrorists that resulted in deaths and sufferings of civilians, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said in an online statement.
The diplomat said the bombing was the second one in the last six weeks which has happened near the Russian embassy. "This creates real danger for the life and security of the embassy staff, " Lukashevich said.
He said the extremists groups in Syria, which shell and bomb the residential districts, must face uncompromised response from the international community.
Moscow urged all sides in the Syrian conflict to stop violence and start negotiations in accordance with Geneva communique signed in June 2012.
At least 15 people were killed and 53 others wounded Monday when an explosive-laden vehicle parked at the Central Bank's plaza in downtown Damascus went off.
No one has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack, but previous similar ones bore the hallmarks of al-Qaida.
