A dog in Britain has caused hundreds of pounds' damage at home after his head was stuck in a bin, the Daily Mail reported.

The two-year-old German Shepherd called Theodore gnawed at virtually everything at his home in Lincoln of England, ranging from beds, slippers, dressing gowns to plant pots, skirting boards and door knobs, according to his owner Vicky Galbraith, who has taken pictures showing various destructive scenes.

Pictures posted online by Galbraith show the dog lying on the ground strewn with clothes, opening the baby gate, having his head stuck in a bin, among other things.

"He was nosing in the bin and got his head stuck, and then started wearing it around as if it were a fashion accessory," Galbraith said.

"It seems that there's nothing that he won't destroy - and he definitely seems chuffed with himself when he's destroyed something!" Galbraith added.

The 32-year-old owner said she will have to reinforce his current cage with cable ties to prevent him from getting out as well as keeping him safe.

She said the mischievous dog has been fully trained and she "wouldn't change him for the world."

The photos have sparked multiple reactions online with some immersed in the fun while others accused the owner of not giving enough attention to the dog.

"He is an intelligent bored dog," one netizen wrote.

"Not a naughty dog. Just bad ownership," another commented.

The German Shepherd is a type of working dog that was originally developed for herding sheep. Its good strength, intelligence, trainability and obedience also fit it for many other types of work including disability assistance, search-and-rescue and even acting.
