Tirana Int'l Film Festival awards unveiled

"Seven Lucky Gods", a film written, produced and directed by Jamil Dehlavi, was presented Friday with Tirana International Film Festival's (TIFF) best Feature Film Award at the 11th edition of the event.

The TIFF's Best Director Award went to Greek Director Thanos Anastopoulos for directing the film "The daughter". Best Screenplay Award went to "The kids from the port", a Spanish production. The audience's top award was presented to Bekim Guxi. The TIFF's Best Actress award went to Sabina Limani.

The Festival's Career Award went to Endri Keko(posthumously). The Festival's Best Short Documentary Award went to the Italian director Simone Salvemini, who is known as one of the first participants and winners of Tirana Film Festival.

Albanian and foreign renowned artists, Prime Minister Edi Rama, Mayor of Tirana Lulzim Basha, Minister of Culture Mirela Kumbare, representatives of the diplomatic corps, art and film admirers attended the closing awards ceremony of the 11th edition of the Tirana International Film Festival.

Tirana International Film Festival was is the first and the only international cinema festival in Albania created in 2003.
