First Creek Winery, the largest wine company in the Hunter Valley, one of Australia's most famous wine-producing regions, is planning to participate, for the first time, in the third China International Import Expo, due to take place from Nov 5 to 10 in Shanghai.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and wildfire, wine production has been affected in the Hunter Valley, said Justin McCarthy, commercial manager of First Creek Factory. He hopes high quality wines produced in the region could tap into the Chinese market via the CIIE.
