ISLAMABAD, Jan. 17 (Gwadar Pro) - China's "dual circulation" economic development pattern by making China strong and wealthy is also likely to take China-Pakistan economic and strategic collaboration to a new level of partnership as China's success is also success for Pakistan.

 

The above view was expressed by Syed Hasan Javed,Director of Chinese Studies Center, School of Social Sciences and Humanities in National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. He said that China' s “dual circulation” economy is reflection of the great wisdom, vision and farsightedness of China's leadership particularly President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang as well as other leading organs of the state and the government. “The ‘dual circulation’ strategy is well thought out for balanced growth of the domestic economy by enhancing domestic demand as China moves from a middle income towards a high income country category. China will also promote international collaboration in trade and investment as the dual cycle of its economy.”

 

“Pakistan is a great beneficiary of the rise of China's economic prosperity particularly through the Chinese investments under CPEC. Pakistan is moving forward, as China moves ahead.” Syed Hasan Javed stated, “both nations are now working hard to make second phase of CPEC with cooperation in agriculture, industrialization, SEZs, tourism, business, higher education, healthcare, environment, social sector etc, which is another success story.”

 

He further mentioned that CPEC’s success has been due to the special nature of China-Pakistan all-weather strategic partnership. “No amount of hostile propaganda by detractors can ever make a difference as CPEC continues to move into second phase after completion of the first phase of early harvest projects which have addressed effectively Pakistan's energy, infrastructure and supply side bottlenecks. Our Chinese friends have continued to work on CPEC projects under global Covid-19 Pandemic conditions.”

 

The beauty of China’s development model is that growth and transition promote each other as policies are based on scientific research, experience and local realities. “China’s contemporary development trajectory of “Dual circulation Economy” also conforms to the broad lessons that Chinese planners and economists have learnt from the successes of navigating the country through what is called globally an era of new normal marked by all kinds of uncertainties.” Syed Hasan Javed added.
