CPEC: First Chinese company starts work in Rashakai SEZ

NOWSHERA, April 20 (Gwadar Pro) – The first Chinese industry started work in the Rashakai Special Economic Zone (SEZ) under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on Monday afternoon.
The Century Steel will invest and produce steel products at their plant in the Rashakai SEZ.
The project would consume 45 megawatts of electricity and employ 1,000 manpower directly and indirectly, resources from China have been mobilized.
The Rashakai SEZ Committee has allocated 20 acres of land to Century Steel (Pvt) Ltd, which is owned by a Chinese company. (Editor:Liao Yifan)
