Upcoming Event: China-Pakistan Animal Husbandry and Fishery Cooperation and Exchange Forum
Summary: Hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan and organized by China Economic Net and China Machinery Engineering Corporation, China-Pakistan Animal Husbandry and Fishery Cooperation and Exchange Forum - the third seminar of China-Pakistan Agricultural and Industrial Cooperation Information Platform - will be held online on April 28, 2021, and we are now cordially inviting you to participate in the event.
I.Introduction
Continuing to play its role as a platform, this forum focuses on business-to-business cooperation in animal husbandry and fishery between China and Pakistan, which will create opportunities for exchanges and cooperation in scientific research and production within the industry, and contribute to mutual benefit and win-win results in animal husbandry and fishery between the two countries.
II.Background
As China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is expanding to agriculture and science and technology, the China-Pakistan Agricultural and Industrial Cooperation Information Platform was officially launched on January 26. Jointly built by China Economic Net and China-Pakistan Agricultural Cooperation and Exchange Center (China Machinery Engineering Corporation), the platform mainly collects, summarizes, sorts out, and releases information on China-Pakistan agricultural and industrial cooperation, and displays agriculture-related scientific and technological products, agricultural machinery and tools, agricultural products and achievements of agricultural cooperation, etc. Meanwhile, it also actively organizes business forums, seminars and project matchmaking meetings to promote exchanges and cooperation in the fields of agriculture and industry between China and Pakistan.
To promote China-Pakistan agricultural exchanges and cooperation, the platform will organize a series of online seminars this year, which covers seed industry, animal husbandry, fishery, dairy products, agricultural products processing, agricultural supplies, agricultural machinery, cold chain storage, horticultural crops, etc, introducing advanced Chinese mode of production and scientific research in the field of agriculture to Pakistan.
