The first China International Consumer Products Expo, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hainan Provincial Government, will open on Friday in Haikou port city, capital of south China's Hainan Province. 

 

Some 1,200 global brands from 69 countries and regions signed up for the gathering. Switzerland will attend as the guest country of honor. More than 800 domestic brands from China's 31 provincial-level regions will also participate.
