“We have business with many foreign countries including China, the United States, Turkey and Malaysia but about 90% of our business are dealt with Chinese companies,” said Muhammad Rizwan Altaf, Research and Development Manager of Hexon Group Pakistan.

Agriculture is an important sector of Pakistan’s economy. He told China Economic Net that crop solutions were already in strong demand in Pakistan.

He considered that Chinese companies could bring new products that are sufficient for crop solutions in Pakistan.

Speaking to China Economic Net, Altaf said that Hexon had cooperation with some big Chinese chemical manufacturers.

He said that with some of their Chinese business partners they had done researches both in China and in Pakistan and worked together for crop solutions.

He added, “Some Chinese companies come to visit us and we also go to China for various exhibitions with business purposes.”

According to him, Hexon has approached many Chinese companies for good quality products and they also established some joint ventures with some Chinese companies to conduct researches through which they saw wonderful results.

He believed through their joint ventures their Chinese partners could bring crop technology to Pakistan and Hexon would promote related crop science and technology in Pakistan for Pakistan’s development of agriculture.

Altaf also revealed that amidst the COVID-19, transportation especially international transportation was a challenge for the company. “Though affected by the Covid-19, we are still trying to explore new business opportunities.”

According to Altaf, Hexon has many operations with international partners and they have held some seminars and meetings in Pakistan. “We have a goal to provide new and advanced technology to our farmers,” he added.

Hexon Group with a period of more than 20 years, has always served Pakistan farmers through agriculture science and technology according to Altaf. He revealed that Hexon also had interest in exporting more Pakistan’s fruits and vegetables to China.
