KARACHI, Aug 17th (Gwadar Pro) - On August 14th, the Saindak Project group held a grand flag-raising ceremony.

Both Pakistani and Chinese employees paid tribute to the 75th anniversary of Pakistan's Independence Day, and local people acknowledged the sandak project's efforts in controlling the epidemic and developing the local economy during the ceremony.

At 8 o 'clock in the morning, the national anthems of Pakistan and China were played while the flags of the two countries and the MCC flag were raised. The security team was dressed in ceremonial attire, and all the Chinese and Pakistani administrators and employees attended the flag-raising ceremony.

Since MCC entered Saindak in 2002, the project team has held flag-raising ceremonies on each major Pakistani holiday. “The ceremonies, embodying Pak-China friendship and national honor, enable the employees of the two countries to break through geographic and language barriers and unite closely,” said Ren Huikuan, spokesman of Saindak.

Pakistani employees believe that in the past 20 years, the project team has made great efforts to turn Saindak into an "industrial pearl" shining in the northwest border of Pakistan and a famous "Chinatown".

At present, the project team is developing the east orebody rapidly and has detected new resources. Through the application of new advanced technology, the Saindak project is transferred into "high quality new technology development".
