ZHUZHOU, Jul 1 (China Economic Net) - Six Pakistani enterprises showcased their handicrafts at the 2026 Hunan Integrated Development of Domestic and Foreign Trade Expo, held in Zhuzhou from June 26 to 28, as Pakistani diplomats also used the occasion to explore new avenues of bilateral cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine and medical devices.

Themed “New Consumption, New Intelligent Manufacturing, and New Integration”, this year’s expo featured a wide range of products across sectors including rail transit, engineering machinery, light industry, electronics, specialty agricultural products and imported commodities. The event attracted nearly 600 enterprises and over 2,000 business representatives from 15 countries and regions.

Among the participants were Sardar Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Guangzhou, and Muhammad Imran, Trade and Investment Counsellor of the Consulate General, who attended the reception and opening ceremony and visited the exhibition booths to learn about the Pakistani enterprises on display and explore new industrial opportunities.

During their stay in Zhuzhou, the Pakistani diplomats visited Qianjin Group and held discussions focusing on China-Pakistan cooperation in traditional Chinese patented medicines. The visit builds on existing ties between Pakistan and the Qianjin Group, following the successful clinical trial of the company’s Gynecological Qianjin Capsule in Pakistan, a product designed to fill the gap in the country's gynecological TCM market.

The delegation also visited Hunan Reborn Medical Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., touring its modern production workshops and facilities. Diplomats were impressed by Reborn’s advanced production management and quality control systems. The company's products have been exported to overseas markets, with Pakistan being one of its key export destinations in Asia.

The Pakistani side extended an invitation to Qianjin Group and Hunan Reborn to participate in the B2B Investment Conference on Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices slated for July 17-18 in Karachi, signaling a step forward in deepening bilateral cooperation in the healthcare sector.
