According to the South China Morning Post, a delegation from the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC) recently concluded its visit to Beijing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou, but failed to secure meetings with "some of China's leading technology companies."
The USCC is an organization that investigates military, economic, and technological trends in China and submits reports and policy recommendations to the U.S. Congress. In 2025, it issued a report urging the U.S. government to further tighten technology export controls and ramp up sanctions against China.
