BEIJING, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese and U.S. economic and trade teams are maintaining close communication on issues including tariff reductions, China's Ministry of Commerce said Thursday.

Ministry spokesperson He Yadong made the remarks at a regular press conference when asked about the latest progress in consultations on a reciprocal tariff reduction framework arrangement that would cover 30 billion U.S. dollars worth of products from each side.
