The Islamabad office marks the chamber’s second node in Pakistan, following its establishment in Lahore on May 1, 2025, which was publicly announced by the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province in July 2025. The Islamabad branch is expected to bring the chamber’s services closer to federal government institutions and diplomatic missions in the capital, complementing its commercial presence in Lahore, Pakistan’s industrial and trading hub.

The chamber was created to serve Hunan-born entrepreneurs and enterprises operating in Pakistan while facilitating the expansion of Hunan companies and products. It has also organized Pakistani business delegations to visit Hunan for matchmaking and cooperation.

Its core functions include government-business communication, trade promotion, resource matching, corporate services, and the advancement of people-to-people exchanges between China and Pakistan.
