November is packed with important dates for the Greek stock market, which is seeking to reshape its investment profile following its recent reclassification as a Developed Market by FTSE Russell.

Attracting more and higher-quality capital, appears to be the main objective of Euronext Athens, which is seeking to boost the international exposure and visibility of listed companies. Two dedicated investor events focusing on small and mid-cap stocks are part of this effort.

Bringing Greek companies into direct contact with analysts and institutional investors offers an initial opportunity to showcase the growth prospects of small and mid-sized companies listed on the Athens Stock Exchange.

The small-cap conference held on Monday was attended by representatives of Alpha Trust Andromeda, AS Company, Biokarpet, Daios Plastics, ELTON, EINS, Lanacum, QnR, Revoil, SoftWeb, Trek Development, Unibios, Verallis and Y/Knot. As for the mid-cap conference, the aim is to attract more participants this year than in 2025, when 18 listed companies took part.

The month's biggest investment event, however, will take place on November 30, with the start of the two-day Morgan Stanley and Euronext Athens conference in London. Major players in the Greek capital market, including National Bank of Greece, Metlen, Motor Oil, GEK TERNA, PPC, Viohalco and Aktor Group, among others, will be represented in the British capital. A total of 42 companies took part in the 2025 event, attended by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Meanwhile, Alpha Bank management presented the bank's financial outlook, growth strategy and revised forward targets.

Finally, November will also bring two important developments concerning global benchmark indices.

On November 11, MSCI, which continues to classify Greece as an Emerging Market, will announce the updated composition of the MSCI Greece Index, which currently comprises 10 listed companies: National Bank of Greece, Eurobank, Piraeus Bank, Alpha Bank, PPC, Motor Oil, GEK TERNA, Jumbo, OTE and Allwyn. Any changes will take effect after the close of trading on November 30.

On November 13, meanwhile, the first changes to FTSE Russell indices following Greece's reinstatement as a Developed Market will be announced. The changes will take effect one month later, at the close of trading on December 18.
