Tokyo stocks fall 0.68 pct in morning session on Greece fears
Tokyo stocks fell 0.68 percent in the morning session of Tuesday on fears over the Greece financial bailout as the country's parliament headed toward a snap election.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was down 119.71 points, from Monday to 17,610.13.
The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange edged down 5.87 points, or 0.41 percent, to 1, 418.80.
Major decliners included brokerage, precision instrument and pharmaceutical issues.
