Chinese netizens hailed her as "the most beautiful girl born after 1990," as she once rescued people from drowning and has adopted an abandoned infant. After being elected as a NPC deputy, Tie had visited lots of "left-behind" children, who lived with their grandparents as their parents had migrated to cities for work as well as urban migrant population to find difficulties and problems in their daily life. As a result, when she came to Beijing for her first NPC session, she suggested to enhance the protection of the rights and benefits for "left-behind" children.
