Geely sale up 11% in Q3

Geely sold a combined 43,000 vehicles in China and overseas in September, a rise of 43 percent from August, and 33 percent more than last September.

In China, the private-sector carmaker sold 31,400 units in September, an increase of 11 percent year-on-year , while exports reached 11,600 units.

Geely's first SUV, the Gleagle GX7, sold 4,544 units in September, up 46 percent from August.

The automaker said it sold 323,938 vehicles in the first three quarters of the year, 70 percent of its full-year sales target, and an increase of 11 percent over the same period last year.
