An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale jolted southern Xinjiang, China at BJT 06:50:08 on March 9 (22:50:08 GMT, March 8), the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 35.50 km, was initially determined to be at 39.37 degrees north latitude and 81.35 degrees east longitude. |
