Sunny weather will continue to push up temperatures in most parts of central and east China over the next three days, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) said Sunday.
Regions along the Yangtze and Huaihe rivers, those south of the Yangtze River and southern parts of China will see temperatures range between 22 degrees Celsius to 27 degrees Celsius, while areas along the Yellow River and the middle and southern parts in north China will see temperatures move up to 20 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees Celsius, the CMA said.
Temperatures in many provincial capitals, such as Xi'an, Nanjing,Hangzhou, Hefei, Nanchang, Wuhan and Changsha, will rise to above 20 degrees Celsius, according to the forecast.
Despite the warming signs, meteorologists warned of whimsical weather in the spring, saying a cold front on March 27 may drag down temperatures in central and east China. |
