A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met here Monday with a delegation from the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP).
Wang Gang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vowed to enhance exchanges with the LPRP during his meeting with the delegation headed by Khampheuy Panemalaythong, a member of the LPRP Central Committee.
Wang, also vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, hailed the progress of Sino-Laotian relations since the two states agreed to build a comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation in 2009.
Labelling China and the Laos as "good neighbors, friends, comrades and partners," Wang said the Chinese party and government will work with the Laotian side to further strategic communication, coordination and cooperation. |
