Gunshots were heard on Wednesday when a demonstration was seen in Bamako, capital city of Mali, a local Xinhua correspondent said.
Around 100 to 200 Mali soldiers were storming the national television ORTM in the city in the afternoon to show their displeasure over treatment of a conflict in the north, the correspondent said, adding the broadcaster has halted its programs. |
