| Egypt's Morsi to start visit to EU, Italy on Sept. 12 |

Egyptian President Morsi will start his visit to the EU headquarters in Brussels and Italy on Sept. 12, presidency spokesman Yasser Ali said Tuesday.
Morsi will meet with top EU leaders, including Jose Manuel Barroso, president of the European commission, and Catherine Ashton, EU foreign policy chief, official news agency MENA quoted Ali as saying at a press conference.
During his trip to Italy, Morsi will meet with his Italian counterpart as well as the Italian prime minister and foreign minister.
Egyptian Industry and Foreign Trade Minister will accompany Morsi on his trip.
Brussels and Rome are the next stations of the first freely elected Egyptian president's foreign tour following his visits to China and Iran in August. |
