The head of the US Central Intelligence Agency will visit South Korea this weekend.
His purpose is to discuss developments in the DPRK after the death of its leader Kim Jong-Il in December.
South Koreas Yonhap News Agency quotes a Seoul government source saying General David Petraeus will meet security and intelligence officials.
It will be the first time the former US military commander in Afghanistan has visited South Korea since taking up the post of CIA director last September. Petraeus will also visit China and Japan, according to the source. |
