South Korean foreign minister Kim Sung-hwan is scheduled to visit Denmark and Turkey next week to discuss boosting bilateral ties with them, the ministry said Thursday.

During his three-day visit to Denmark starting next Tuesday, Kim will meet with Danish Foreign Minister Villy Soevndal to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation on economic and trade issues.

The two will also discuss green growth, Arctic development and other international issues including the eurozone crisis, according to the ministry.

Kim will then head to Turkey on Thursday for talks with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu over substantiating bilateral cooperation.

Kim is also expected to sit down with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan, the ministry said.
