Japan's current account balance in February logged 1,177.8 billion yen in surplus, down 30.7 percent from a year earlier, according to the government data released on Monday.
The balance marked an improvement after logging the first deficit in three years in January amid the country's growing imports and slowing exports.
The balance of goods trade registered a surplus of 102.1 billion yen, according to a preliminary report released by the Finance Ministry. |
