A major accident on a road in Thailand's western Ratchaburi province claimed three lives and badly injured three other people, Bangkok Post newspaper reported Wednesday.
Police said Wednesday morning that the fatal accident took place in Ratchaburi's Chom Beung district.
A witness said initially only five motorcycles were involved in an accident. Later Pond Siri-ake was passing by in his pickup truck and stopped to help out.
Another car, which was speeding down the dimly light road, crashed into the vehicles, the bikers and Pond. One of the motorbikes was rammed into the pickup truck.
The three injured were rushed to a hospital by passers-by, police said.
Police took the driver of the car into custody for further investigation. |
