Five people were killed and two others injured as a result of a terrible crash in Azerbaijan's Shamakhi region on Wednesday, local media reported.
The accident injured occurred on the BakuShamakhi highway near Achidere village, when a VAZ-2106 passenger car traveling in the direction of Shamakhi (110 kilometers to the west of Baku) collided with a MAZ truck moving on the opposite direction on the way to Baku, the police said.
The car was completely destroyed. The driver of the car and his four passengers died at the scene. Driver and passenger of the truck were injured and reportedly escaped from the site. |
