The undocking of European resupply spacecraft ATV-3 from the International Space Station (ISS) had been rescheduled for early Saturday, the Russian federal space agency Roscosmos said Thursday.
The undocking, now due at 1:44 a.m. Moscow time Saturday (2144 GMT Friday), has been postponed twice due to communications problems.
An initial attempt Wednesday morning Moscow time was aborted and postponed to Friday morning.
But a further delay of one day had been ordered in response to a request from the U.S., Roscosmos said in a statement.
According to the agency, the new undocking time was agreed by Russia's Mission Control, NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA).
The change of the undocking time would not disrupt the daily work of the ISS crew, Roscosmos said.
The ATV-3 spacecraft docked automatically at the ISS' Zvezda service module on March 28. |
