A Russian passenger plane bound for Egypt made an emergency landing Monday in southern Ukraine, and no one was injured, local authorities said.
Preliminary information showed that the pilot changed course after a 66-year-old passenger reported discomfort and fell into a coma, the Emergency Ministry said in a report.
The plane, en route from Moscow to the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh, landed at Simferopol airport, where medical personnel took the passenger to a nearby hospital, the reported added.
The aircraft continued its flight to Egypt hours later. |
