New wave of snowfall to disrupt air traffic in France
A fresh wave of heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures are set to disrupt traffic in France's main airports on Sunday, the Paris airport authority ADP said.
Due to upcoming snowfall in Paris, air traffic will be impacted, according to ADP, which advised passengers to check the revised timetable before boarding.
French civil aviation authority DGAC also recommended airlines to reduce up to 30 percent their flights in both airports of Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly on Sunday.
Meteo France, French weather agency, has put 29 departments, including the Ile-de-France (Paris and its suburb), under orange alert and decided to maintain the alert system in these areas till Monday afternoon with the snow is expected to be thick as up to 8 centimeters.
