French economy minister heads for Franc zone ministers' meeting in Senegal

French Economy and Finance Minister Pierre Moscovici will on Monday head to Dakar, the capital of Senegal, to attend the finance ministers meeting of Franc zone, the ministry announced in a statement.

During his visit, the French minister will be received by Senegal President Macky Sall, and the two will discuss about a series of political issues including the situation in Malian, as well as the economic relationship between France and Senegal, the statement added.

Moreover, the French minister will present with President Sall the signing ceremony of agreements on loan and subsidies of the AFD (French Development Agency).

The French minister plans to hold a press conference before concluding his visit, according to the same source.

The finance ministers' meeting in Dakar, which is scheduled to be held on April 8, will bring together finance ministers and central bank governors from the franc zone countries, and presidents of regional institutions.
