The Arab League's (AL) ministerial committee in charge of handling the Syrian crisis will meet on Saturday to discuss a report submitted by the AL observer mission, the pan-Arab body said Tuesday.
The meeting will talk about the latest development of the situation in Syria and adopt new measures of the Arab initiative, according to a statement by the AL.
A new team of Arab observers flied to Syria's capital Damascus on Tuesday to join the AL mission there, according to Egypt's official Middle East News Agency (MENA).
The 14-member team includes 12 Iraqi and two Tunisian observers. Meanwhile, another six Bahrain observers will head to Syria as well to join the team within a few hours, MENA said. |
