Etihad al-Soqour, unity of vultures, is the name of a common military exercise by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain which kicked off Sunday, UAE news agency WAM reported.

The report did not specify the exact location where the exercise takes place, but said both countries' air forces and air defenses were involved.

The UAE and Bahrain are both members of Gulf Cooperation Council, known as GCC. The other four members are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar.
