Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary Saeed Jalili will travel to Beirut on Monday for talks with top Lebanese officials, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported on Sunday.

During his trip Jalili will hold talks with Lebanese president, prime minister, parliament speaker and foreign minister regarding the two countries' relations and regional developments, said the report.

Iranian officials have voiced readiness to establish cooperation between Iran and Lebanon in diverse areas.
